rainwater harvesting and storage

something like 1% of the earth's water is potable.  
If we can use some rainwater for irrigation 
and maybe even get the greywater thing to take off more fully, it would help tremendously.


Eddie Van Giesen inspects a fountain Wednesday at Athens’ Hotel Indigo that uses a Blue Ridge Atlantic Enterprise rainwater-catchment system. The system uses rainwater and condensation from air conditioners to supply the exterior fountain with water.
